Their most recent album is really good, I've been listening to it a bunch.

I also haven't mentioned how much I've been listening to MJ Lenderman, who's got a similar sound and has played with Ratboys I think?

"Wristwatch" is the standout from his "Manning Fireworks", but I love a bunch of the songs

I had never heard of them until I read this list, and immediately enjoyed their sound

I found this album via Lars Gotrich's top 10, I picked it out to listen without reading anything at all and was blown away to hear wonderful American Primitive songs.

If you don't know what American Primitive music is, the term was coined by John Fahey for his style of music; I recommend you go and read the wiki article for more.
