Last Night I Heard the Dog Star Bark - Gwenifer Raymond

I found this album via Lars Gotrich's top 10, I picked it out to listen without reading anything at all and was blown away to hear wonderful American Primitive songs.

If you don't know what American Primitive music is, the term was coined by John Fahey for his style of music; I recommend you go and read the wiki article for more.

Some of my other favorites in the genre are:

• Death Chants, Breakdowns & Military Waltzes - John Fahey
• 6- & 12-String Guitar - Leo Kottke
• Kensington Blues - Jack Rose
