Package Managers à la Carte

The title is undoubtedly a reference to Build systems á la carte, and they attempt to build a similar taxonomy of the somewhat messier world of package managers.

I particularly enjoyed section 3.3, which links to Russ Cox's work on MVS and compares it to cargo.

I'm kind of shocked I've never discussed MVS here, but I think my interest in it predates my notes blog.
