Agent Trace

Agent Trace is an open specification for tracking AI-generated code. It provides a vendor-neutral format for recording AI contributions alongside human authorship in version-controlled codebases.
I've been telling pi to create a transcript of each session and attach it to the PRs it generates.
This spec suggests a "trace record" JSON schema but doesn't specify anything about where or how the generated JSON might be used.
They proved a bare-bonse trace hook that I don't know how I'd use even if I wanted to.
I look forward to this being standardized
